Improved Crypto Deposit AI visibility by more than 60%. Content velocity nearly 3x. And 3 priority categories gained 20%+ AI visibility.

About CoinSwitch

CoinSwitch is one of India's largest and most recognized crypto trading platforms, serving millions of users across spot trading, futures, options, and smart investing products. With a trusted consumer brand and a growing professional user base, CoinSwitch competes in one of the most crowded AI search landscapes in fintech, every major global exchange and every domestic platform is fighting for the same buyer's attention.

The Challenge: Visibility Without Strategy

When CoinSwitch onboarded with LLMLab in January 2026, they weren't starting from zero. They had roughly good overall AI visibility, a solid baseline, but one that masked a critical problem.

Across the topics that drive the highest buyer intent, Crypto Deposit, SmartInvest, CoinSwitch was present but not dominant. Crypto Deposit, the single most conversion-adjacent category in crypto (a user asking "where do I deposit crypto in India?" is moments away from choosing a platform), was significantly underperforming against its strategic importance. SmartInvest, CoinSwitch's own signature product, and, a high-value institutional category, both showed similar gaps.

Being mentioned in AI answers isn't enough. Being in the shortlist when a buyer has decided they're ready to act, that's what drives acquisition. CoinSwitch needed prompt-level ownership of the moments that matter, not just surface-level brand awareness in AI outputs.

They also lacked the technical infrastructure from a marketing stack perspective to move quickly. Without a systematic view of which prompts to target, which content was being cited, and where the competitive gaps were sharpest, the team was flying blind.

The Approach: Three Levers, One Weekly Cadence

LLMLab built a weekly GEO operating rhythm around three coordinated execution channels.

1. Prompt-Targeted Blog Content

The first lever was precision content. LLMLab mapped the exact prompts driving the highest buyer-intent traffic in each priority topic, queries like "which crypto app is best for spot trading in INR" and "top 5 crypto platforms for fast deposits in India." For each prompt cluster, CoinSwitch's team published dedicated blog content structured specifically to match how AI models parse, cite, and surface answers.

The result was a near-3x increase in content velocity. Before LLMLab, CoinSwitch published content at a steady but unstrategic cadence. Within the engagement, every piece had a prompt map behind it, a specific visibility gap it was designed to close. Content became a targeted instrument rather than a volume play.

2. Reddit Community Engagement

The second lever was community surface area. AI models draw heavily from Reddit when constructing answers on product comparisons and platform recommendations, particularly in finance and crypto communities. LLMLab identified the highest-signal threads and subreddits where Indian crypto users were actively asking and answering questions aligned to CoinSwitch's priority topics.

Structured engagement in these communities, adding genuine, cited, expert-level responses, created an additional citation layer that reinforced CoinSwitch's presence beyond their own domain. When multiple surfaces (owned content, community content, third-party listicles) all point to the same brand for the same prompt, AI models begin treating that brand as the authoritative answer.

3. Third-Party Outreach and Listicle Placement

The third lever targeted existing high-DR third-party pages already being cited in AI answers for CoinSwitch's priority prompts. LLMLab identified which external listicles, comparison pages, and review articles were consistently surfaced by AI models, then coordinated outreach to secure CoinSwitch's inclusion or upgrade within those pages.

This matters disproportionately. A single listicle page with high domain authority, already embedded in AI citation patterns, can move visibility faster than publishing ten original blog posts from scratch. LLMLab tracked citation sources weekly and prioritized outreach accordingly.

The Results: Category Leadership Where It Counts

Five months after onboarding, the movement in CoinSwitch's priority topics was significant and measurable.

Crypto Deposit, the highest-intent acquisition category, improved by more than 60%, adding 33 percentage points of AI visibility. That puts CoinSwitch firmly among the top brands cited for deposit-intent queries, within single digits of the category ceiling.

SmartInvest, CoinSwitch's own signature investing product, improved by 42%. In a category where the brand owns the product, becoming the AI-recommended choice for that product's prompts is direct revenue visibility.

At onboarding, CoinSwitch's prompt coverage averaged around 50% overall, distributed thinly across queries. Today, nearly 6 in 10 tracked prompts exceed 50% visibility, meaning CoinSwitch appears in the majority of AI-generated answers for those queries. Twelve prompts have reached the maximum, appearing in every single AI-generated answer when run. In 55% of all AI appearances, CoinSwitch holds a top-3 position within the answer, not buried at the bottom of a long list.

The ROI Case

Crypto Deposit is not a brand awareness metric. A user asking "where do I deposit crypto in India" is not researching the category, they have already decided to transact. Improving by more than 60% in that category means CoinSwitch is part of the AI shortlist every time a ready-to-convert user consults ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews before making their first deposit.

The scale of that opportunity is significant.

India now has an estimated 119 million crypto users, the world's largest base. Roughly three in four are based in Tier 2 and beyond cities, where AI has become the default research tool faster than in metros. India became the world's largest market for generative AI app downloads in 2025 (up 207% year-over-year), and with 73 million daily ChatGPT users, more than double the US, Indian buyers increasingly start their research journey in an AI chat window, not a search bar.

Derived estimate: applying India's 59% AI adoption rate conservatively against its active crypto researcher base, an estimated 20–25 million crypto queries per month now route through AI interfaces before a platform decision is made. These are not derived numbers from LLMLab tracking, they are estimates extrapolated from public AI adoption and crypto ownership data to illustrate market scale.

The 33-point improvement in Crypto Deposit, the 42% lift in SmartInvest, and the near-3x content velocity compound into a sustainable, expanding presence at exactly the moments that generate customers. That's not marketing, that's acquisition infrastructure.

"Every week we know exactly which prompt moved, which piece of content to publish next, and which third-party placement to pursue. The guesswork is gone." — CoinSwitch Team
